Grid Layout
I was hoping to use this grid layout for my assignment as it allows me to use intricate curves and other sorts of lines. I was hoping to use the floor plan of the ground or upper floor for the background of my poster and change the opacity of the background.
Layar Testing
I was finding it hard to get my material and most of my faces to show up in Layar. So i went and made sure all my materials were in 256x256 size and none of my faces from sketchup were facing the wrong way. Although i changed computers and sometimes it would work properly and sometimes it wouldn't.

Initially the Vitra Design Museum was constructed to document the history of the Vitra Company. As the collection grew, so did the desire for an architectural venue in which the objects could be displayed. I would like to take this initial idea and create a hallway through time from when the furniture and interior design was introduced into the venue. Because this new re-invention will be located on the village green of UNSW I thought it would be more interesting if a fun factor was introduced such as laser skirmish. Whilst running around the building they are most likely not going to take in the historical designs therefore when games are not in session the building will be open for viewings of the designs.
Exterior: I was thinking about giving the exterior a more earthy feel to it to suit the village green location or keeping a white cladding base. With the white finish it preserves the Vitra Design Museum's look with the new re-envision.
Interior: I would like to keep the atmosphere inside the arena dark and mysterious. The feature textures shown above of lasers would be an interesting wall texture. I would like to use ashfelt and black coloured concrete to increase the dark atmosphere in the room.
Feature: The laser textures i'm hoping to use on the outside main features i have kept from the original Vitra Design Museum. This would enhance the multiple exterior features as well as keep a consistent look for the interior arena walls.
Location: Normally laser skirmish arenas are situated in major shopping centers or even as their own building.I have chosen to locate my laser skirmish arena on the university campus in the green area outside the old main building. I have chosen this location as university can be very stressful and it is a perfect way to wind down and relax. I have also chosen this particular location due to another reason being that part of campus is mainly used by the built environment faculty who have the majority of design students. They will be able to look around the museum designs pieces when games are not running as well.
Clients: My clients would include mainly university students who are coming to unwind after a long day but also could include university staff and other people who would come to use the university gym. Even the pre-schoolers will be able to use it as some will be over the age limit. All other patrons will also have access but will mostly be advertised to be used on weekends when the university is not packed with students.

Located along the Vltava River, within walking distance of prominent cultural facilities, the site is significant as it is one of the only three in the historic district of central Prague on which new construction has been permitted.
Inhereting from the consistant abstract style appearing in Frank Gehry's other worksites, the Nationale-Nederlanden Building blends in with the adjacent buildings with the adoption of an unusual shape. The twin tower schemed design creates a strong visual focal point within this smooth transition that has been led across the street. More importantly, it has established a sculptural dialogue appropriate to the context for the immediate urban environment.
On ground level, there is a cafe and several retail spaces that are directly accessible from the river front and from the public square. Additional retail spaces occupy a lower level located below grade. Throughout the second to seventh level, several unique office spaces and conference rooms are occupied. Whereas a restaurant is located at the top level, taking full advantage of the spetacular view of the Prague skyline.
The twin towers (one developed as cylindrical solid volume, the other as a tapering glass tower), supported by a number of sculptural columns, are combined to create a small covered entrance plaza at the ground level of the building. Comprising of a double-layer steel-supported glass curtain wall, the interior of the glass tower has engaged this curtain wall to be the actual wall for the building, whereas the sculptural outer layer acts as a screen for the office spaces underneath.
The main exterior facade overlooks the river bank. It responds to the rich texture and scale of the adjacent row houses. Imitating the wave of the river, its staggered windows and horizontal striations obtains a streamlined pattern. It is constructed of precast concrete panels with a plaster finish which is common to the local architecture.

This video provides me inspiration about how i wish my video to turn out to be. I assume I would be able to achieve this using Crysis with multiple AI players.
